Asian stock markets traded higher on Friday after Wall Street ended its session with strong gains. The earnings season continued, with Apple’s revenue beating estimates despite a 4% annual drop. The markets in Japan and mainland China are closed today for public holidays.
The Kospi Composite was up by just 0.08% at 4:08 am CET, the Hang Seng added 1.32%, and the S&P/ASX 200 rose by 0.58% at the same time.
The dollar traded 0.47% lower compared to the yen and sold for 152.89300 at 4:09 am CET.
