Major stock markets in the United States ended higher on Wednesday as investors brushed off earlier trade turmoil linked to the US administration’s tariff policies. Tech stocks led gains, after Super Micro Computer announced the full production availability of its AI data center featuring Nvidia’s Blackwell platform, making both company’s stocks climb.
Market participants are now closely monitoring earnings reports from Arm, Ford, and Qualcomm due after the market close.The Dow Jones Industrial Average index soared 0.71% or 317 points, with Amgen Inc. rising 6.50% and Nvidia Corporation 5.35%. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 advanced 0.42% as Electronics Arts Inc. climbed 7.60%.
The S&P 500 gained 0.39% with Jonhson Controls International PLC soaring 11.28% and Super Micro Computer gaining 7.99%.The euro traded 0.20% higher compared to the dollar at 3:58 pm ET, to sell for $1.04060.
