Alphabet Inc.’s Google LLC announced on Tuesday collaborations with ByteDance Ltd.’s TikTok and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024.
From today onwards, users have the capability to project TikTok content from their mobile devices onto Chromecast built-in devices and in the near future, they will be able to stream LIVE videos from TikTok directly onto their television sets. Google is also collaborating with Samsung to create a cross-Android sharing solution under the name Quick Share, “the best default, built-in option for peer-to-peer content sharing across all types of devices in the Android and Chromebook ecosystems.”
“Android Auto4 is also getting some helpful upgrades. Coming first to the Ford Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning in the coming months, electric vehicles compatible with Android Auto can share real-time battery information with Google Maps,” the company added.
